The National Council on Problem Gambling’s (NCPG) mission is to lead state and national stakeholders in the development of comprehensive policy and programs for all those affected by problem gambling. Our purpose is to serve as the national advocate for programs and services to assist people and families affected by problem gambling. And our vision is to improve health and wellness by reducing the personal, social and economic costs of problem gambling.
The Quad Cities Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition (QCSAPC) was formed in November 2017 to address the issue of the non-medical use of prescription drugs. The QCSAPC has continuously gained a variety of community members that are committed to creating change within their community.
The Scott County Health Department promotes, protects, and preserves health through leadership, service, education, and partnerships. The Health Department is dedicated to providing public health services to address every day as well as emerging health issues. They participate in events recognizing public health all year long.
