For Children

The CADS prevention department utilizes Evidence-based programs from SAMHSA’s National Registry to help youth succeed in school, show leadership, take care of their health and value diversity so they are less likely to be involved in violence and in using alcohol, tobacco or other drugs.

Esteem Building Group

Esteem Building Groups provide in-school support for youth in elementary, middle, and high schools in Scott County.

After School & Summer Outreach

A supervised, structured, and safe environment for children ages 6-15. The program is available after school and all day in the summer. Homework assistance, skill-building, arts and crafts, snacks, and special projects are offered. Field trips, community service projects, and family events are held periodically.
